Kristy Hanson - Stay
Kristy Hanson is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. She has toured colleges and clubs across the country and within Los Angeles, at venues including the Hotel Cafe, Genghis Cohen, Room 5, Molly Malone’s and Witzend. She has showcased at industry events including BMI’s Acoustic Lounge, NACA conferences, the 2012 AIMP showcase at the Billboard Film & TV Music Conference, and at NAMM 2013 under the John Lennon Songwriting Contest auspices. In 2012, she won West Hollywood’s Summer of Music song contest, making her original “Welcome Me Home” the city’s theme song. Most recently, her songs were featured in a special concert at the New York Musical Theater Festival, performed by Mandy Gonzalez (star of Broadway’s Wicked and In the Heights) and Telly Leung (RENT, Glee). She has composed songs for web series and TV, including Funny or Die short “Late Night Baby,” the web series “Unicorn Plan-It” and the TLC series “What Not to Wear.” She recently licensed the title track of her new EP “Piece of Your Heart” to the Bravo series “Newlyweds: The First Year.”
